Help Anas & the Alzant family rebuild in safety
Donation protected
Hello!
My name is Brooke Keller and I am located in Oregon, USA. As most of the world is aware, Gaza has been under an aggressive siege for many months now. As a result many families are seeking evacuation, yet they have no one outside of Palestine to assist in setting up a fundraising account. Over the past 5 months, I have been able to connect with individuals and families in Gaza, and the diaspora, more specifically Anas Alzant and the Alzant family from Gaza City.
I have created this fundraiser to help my friend Anas raise the necessary funds to get his family to safety and help set them up for a future with dignity. I feel very honored to be able to support Anas and the Alzant family in this way. The donation funds will be collected in a US bank account. Rest assured that ALL of the funds raised will be sent straight to Anas via Western Union or MoneyGram. As the beneficiary, Anas will then be in charge of getting that money to his family in Gaza to begin arrangements for evacuation. I will be posting updates and sharing photos and details from the family as the campaign progresses. I hope you will take action to donate and help the Alzant family.

The donations raised will be used in the following ways:
- Evacuate the family from Rafah to Egypt. This process will cost $80,000. Right now evacuations cost anywhere from $5,000/adult and $2,500/child.
- The remaining $20,000 will be utilized to meet the basic needs and neccessities of the Alzant family in housing, food, transportation and medical care once they evacuate to Egypt.
The names of the Alzant family are as follows:
- Anas’s father & mother, Nabil & Mariam
- Brothers Osama & Saged
- Amjad & his wife Alaa & their daughter Leen
- Islam & his wife Noor
- Adham, Tahani & their children Nabil, Esraa, Mohammed, Amir, Jodey
- Ayat, Ibrahim & their children Islam & Mariam
- Haneen, Mohammed & their children, Mariam, Fareed, & Samira

This is Anas and his families story:
Hello!
My name is Anas Alzant, and I am from Gaza City. I am a professional soccer player, living in Egypt. I represented the Palestinian U-23 team in the Asian Cup qualifiers prior to this war. I hope to become a successful football player soon and I know I can accomplish this because I am only a few steps away.
I am one of 8 children. I have 5 brothers and two sisters. All of them have young children and there are twenty of us total. We are a very close-knit family. Prior to the beginning of this war, all of my family was living a wonderful and happy life. My family had great jobs as we owned more than one shop in the area, in addition to other properties and land. My family is very active within the city and our entire community. My brothers have careers in engineering, graphic design, city administration, teaching, IT, history and political science. Both of my sisters are fluent in English and studied English literature.
Then the war came and tore everything apart. Our house, where childhood memories were made, is in ruins. My family was displaced from Gaza City in an attempt to survive, and they are now in the highly vulnerable city of Rafah, with nowhere else to go as the cold of the concrete has become their only comfort. Every day brings with it the terrifying sound of bombing, and every night brings with it the horrific fear of losing each other. My father, who built our house brick by brick, has watched it collapse in front of his eyes. My mother, whose smile could light up any room, now carries the weight of anxiety. My little brothers, their eyes full of confusion and fear, deserve a world where dreams do not turn to dust. Their lives have become suffering in everything, starting from trying to survive the bombing and struggling to provide food. The suffering to acquire the simplest life necessities has become unimaginable. From the depths of my being, I implore you to help me bring my family to safety. Any amount, big or small, can allow them to escape the nightmare and rebuild their lives.

I am creating this campaign to help support my family and help us to return to life again and to compensate us for these losses we have endured during this on-going war. The donations from this campaign will help us to evacuate my family from Rafah to Egypt. After evacuation, the remaining donations will be used to help my family purchase housing and all the basic necessities of life. Due to my brothers and father losing their jobs and all of our resources in this war, there is no source of income to support the entire family of 20. Any amount donated will contribute to helping my family rebuild what has been destroyed. This war has worn heavy on our souls. We are asking you to support and participate with strength as we need help and assistance to begin rebuilding our lives. Thank you for your consideration of my family!
