Hi, my name is Ana, and I’m asking for help for me and my family because yesterday afternoon on December 8, our home in Othello Washington burned down in a sudden fire. It was a complete accident that started with our Christmas tree. The tree had only been on for about two hours and then out of nowhere it caught on fire, and everything happened so fast. I’m still in shock at how quickly the fire spread and how in just a few minutes almost everything we owned was gone. It hurts so much to know that most of our belongings we worked so hard for, little by little over the years, disappeared in a blink of an eye. My kids and I literally ran out of the house with nothing, not even shoes on, we just ran out as fast as we could once we saw the fire because we were scared and we didn’t have time to grab anything. Even though we lost most of our things, I am so so grateful that we made it out alive and that my kids are safe, because at the end of the day things can be replaced, but my children cannot.

Right now we are basically starting from zero, and it is very scary and overwhelming because we don’t have our home, our clothes, our shoes, or any of the basic things we need every day. We created this GoFundMe to ask for help so we can slowly get back on our feet. Any amount you can help us with, big or small, truly means so much to us. The money will be used to help us find a new place to live, to buy clothes, shoes, basic things we need every day like undergarments and toiletries, and food since we don’t have a fridge we are having to buy what we are going to eat each day. My youngest baby boy is 6 months old who really needs diapers, baby bottles, and formula, and my other two babies ages 6(girl), and 4 year old boy also need clothes, shoes, and other basic things too because all their stuff burned in the fire. I am trying to stay strong and positive for them, but this has been one of the hardest moments of our lives. I feel very sad, but I’m also very thankful for anyone who takes the time to read this, share it, or even donate.
