Boozhoo/hi everyone! My name is Anangabii. I am an Anishinaabe two-spirit/trans nonbinary person from Baawating/Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. I will be getting top surgery on Monday, June 23rd. I have been planning and looking forward to this surgery for a couple of years now, and I am super excited the day has finally come where I can feel better in my body!

I recently graduated from the University of Michigan with my MSW. I am currently working as a psychotherapist and will have to take 3 weeks off of work. Since I am a contract worker, I do not qualify for PTO or medical leave. My surgery estimated costs with insurance is $2,244.83. My rent is $980 (Ann Arbor is wild). I am hoping to raise $4,000 so I can feel financially secure and able to focus on healing without worrying about money.
