We introduce you to Analise Cuington, a sixteen-year-old girl whose intelligence, beauty, and unwavering faith shine brightly even in the face of an immense challenge ahead: her battle with brain cancer. Despite her age, Analise possesses a maturity and wisdom that surpasses her years, captivating all those fortunate enough to know her. Her brilliant mind eagerly absorbs knowledge, constantly seeking to broaden her horizons as she looks forward to finishing high school, going to college and pursuing a career in Marine Biology. Beyond her intellectual prowess, Analise's beauty radiates from within, reflecting the strength and grace that reside within her soul. Her captivating smile, illuminating every room she enters, serves as a testament to her resilient spirit and unwavering positivity.
Analise had been experiencing headaches and fatigue off and on then most recently began to display some minor balance and memory issues. During the week of June 12th, she was at Church Camp enjoying God's beauty, praising His Holy name, and learning to follow Him closer. A few days after returning from camp she was not feeling well so they set up a doctor’s appointment for June 20th. At the appointment, her doctor quickly realized this was more than a doctor’s office could handle and she was sent to Children’s Hospital (Dallas). Within just a few hours, Analise underwent a CT scan and was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor. The next morning she underwent a biopsy and surgical procedure to release fluid from her brain. The pathology report from the biopsy has confirmed she has a malignant brain cancer for which she will begin radiation treatments soon. But Analise's journey is not one where she walks alone. Guided by her unshakable faith in God, she draws strength from her Christian beliefs, leaning on the unwavering love and support of her family and church community.
Today, we gather as a collective force, united in our mission to rally behind Analise in her battle against this stupid cancer. Our purpose is clear: to provide her with the financial support she needs to access the best medical treatments, therapies, and resources available.
