Help Anais cover Medical Expenses from accident

Anais is a 22 year old Parent of two and Chef at El Che stake-house in Fulton Market. They are currently the youngest person working in the largest live fire kitchen in Chicago. Anais is uninsured and like many hardworking people is forced to choose between paying their bills, having enough to eat, and paying for health insurance. We are asking for donations to help cover their medical bills which include an ER visit, multiple dental procedures,  medical procedures, and medications.

On Wednesday August 25th Anais Macias was hit by a blue SUV. The speeding car came out of the alley without beeping or stopping for pedestrians . Anais hit the car face first rolled over the hood and fell to the ground. The assailants attempted to flee but Anais's bike and body were in their way so they reluctantly got out of the car. Before asking if they were okay they yelled at Anais for riding her bike in the street. Anais could not reply to the drivers because she was bleeding profusely from her face and mouth. Dental injury made them unable to speak. The drivers then put their bike in their car without their permission and then forced them to get in the car as well saying that they would drop them off were ever they were going.  After delivering Anais to their job the drivers speed off without giving any of their information. A police report has been filed and local businesses have offered to help by sharing their camera footage. We are waiting for anyone with any information to come forward.

Anais's injuries are as follows

-concussion

-broken teeth shards  stuck in lip

-swelling and lacerations to the face and mouth area

-lip infection (from wound)

-Dental injuries to the entire front top row of teeth

-swelling and lacerations to the gums

-multiple teeth displaced

-Jaw unable to close because if teeth displacement

-shattered teeth

Because Anais was uninsured at the time of the accident, they have  to pay for all of the medical procedures out of pocket. On top of that they recently moved into their own place, where they alone are responsible for paying all the rent and utilities. Anais is an incredible hardworking and passionate mother, sibling, daughter and friend.
