Anabelle is my sister-in-law, and her son Christopher is my nephew. Anabelle has dedicated her life to caring for Christopher, who has Prunebelly Syndrome and mental disabilities. Despite being blind in one eye, she has always put her son’s needs first, making sure he has everything he needs to thrive. Their bond is incredibly strong, and I have always admired Anabelle’s strength and love for her son.

On March 4, 2026, tragedy struck when a fire destroyed their home in Sanger, CA. In a matter of moments, they lost everything—medication, personal health items, clothes, shoes, and all the essentials that Christopher needs for his daily care. The loss has been devastating, especially given the challenges they already face every day.

Right now, Anabelle and Christopher urgently need help to find a new place to stay and to replace the medication and medical necessities that are vital for Christopher’s well-being. These two have been through so much and don’t deserve this. Christopher is the sweetest boy I’ve ever met, and together with his mom, he keeps pushing through whatever life throws at them.
