On the morning of December 21, 2025, Ana Quizhpi, my dear friend's mother, experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed everything she owned. The fire engulfed not only Ana's part of the home, but also the living spaces of two other tenants. Preliminary reports suggest the fire may have started due to an outdoor grille combined with strong winds, but the investigation is still ongoing. The flames and the water used to extinguish them left nothing behind—Ana lost all her belongings and is now staying with her daughter, Saida.

Ana is facing the unimaginable challenge of starting over with only the clothes on her back. She needs help with everything from basic necessities like a toothbrush and food, to clothing and temporary housing. Nothing was able to be salvaged from the fire, and the road to rebuilding will be long and difficult. The funds raised will go directly toward helping Ana replace essentials, secure a safe place to stay, and begin to rebuild her life from scratch.

Saida has always been someone who cares deeply for those around her, offering prayers and support whenever it's needed. Now, it's our turn to come together and support Ana, Saida, and the other tenants affected by this tragedy.
