Fighting Back: Help Ana Return to the Treatment That Saved Her Life
Ana is 37 years old. She is a wife, a mother, and one of the strongest people you will ever hear about.
On the day before her youngest daughter's first birthday, Ana was told she had Stage 4 Breast Cancer — spread to her liver and her spine. She could barely walk. Her legs were going numb. She was at risk of paralysis and could no longer carry her own baby.
The oncology team in Toronto recommended radiation to stabilize her spine, followed by chemotherapy, with the expectation that she would then transition to palliative care.
Ana and her husband accepted that recommendation — but they kept searching.
A Miracle in Mexico
Through word of mouth from a former patient, they found a Medical Institute in Mexico with a documented track record of treating aggressive cancers, including Stage 4 cases. The moment Ana finished her radiation in Toronto, she flew there.
What happened over the next three weeks can only be described as extraordinary.
After the Institute's intensive 3-week program, Ana's tumors had shrunk by an average of 50%. Her cancer had stabilized. Within weeks of returning home, her mobility had returned. She could walk. She could hold her daughters again.
By November 2025 — following a combination of Toronto's oncology protocol and the Institute's ongoing program — the cancer in her breast and liver was almost completely gone. The cancer in her bones had reduced by 60–80%.
Ana was winning.
A Setback — and a Clear Path Forward
Unfortunately, money — not medicine — became the obstacle standing between Ana and her recovery. In the months since treatment stopped, one tumor — located at the base of her head — has begun to grow again. It is now pressing on her brain.
Ana is currently undergoing targeted radiation in Toronto to address the immediate threat. Once that is complete, her plan is to return to the Medical Institute in Mexico for another 3-week program — the same one that produced such dramatic results the first time.
This is not a long shot. This is a proven path. She has already proven she can fight this disease back dramatically — shrinking tumors that doctors expected to grow, and reclaiming a life she was told to prepare to lose. She just needs the chance to finish what she started.
Why We're Asking for Help
The financial burden of the past year — the flights, the Institute's program, the ongoing treatments — has reached a point where Ana's family can no longer carry it alone. They have given everything they have.
Now they are asking their community — family, friends, and anyone moved by Ana's story — to help send her back to the treatment that gave her life back.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward Ana's return to the Medical Institute and the continuation of her treatment.
Ana has two little girls who need their mom. She has already come so far. She just needs the chance to finish the fight.
Please donate what you can, and please share this page. Spreading Ana's story is just as powerful as a financial contribution — it puts her in front of people who are ready and able to help.
With love and deep gratitude, The Radojicic & Jeftic Family
