Help Ana Care for Abandoned Animals

My neighbor Ana has a heart of gold. she feeds 2 different cat colonies in our neighborhood, in addition to the dozen or so animals that have been dumped in her yard by uncaring neighbors when they move out.

this past week, it happened again. the doggy in the sweater (we think he's part boxer part chihuahua?), his *former family moved out and abandoned him like furniture. they just left the gate open and drove away. he didn't run off, but rather went to ana's fence and stayed there on the sidewalk all night. the next morning ana welcomed him in, and he has been adjusting to this new normal. he doesn't chase the other cats or dogs, and is very gentle.

This fundraiser is to help Ana, a retiree who feeds all these animals twice a day despite two bad knees, and this new dog, who deserves far better than he has ever had.
