On Mar 4, 2025, Chris Banks was admitted to the ER with severe back pain and weakness in his legs. His doctor had run blood tests earlier that weekend and noticed his numbers were concerning and pushed the hospital visit. Since then, Chris suffered a stroke and has been moved to UCSD for testing and treatment. The medical team is working diligently to find the “why” for the stroke and underlying medical issues Chris has been suffering from as it is a unique and uncommon situation. Although improving daily, Chris will be moving into an acute rehab for 1-2 weeks and likely months of continuous therapy to get back to normal. Good news is that he is expected to make a full recovery. Blessed as they are with family & friends helping with the day to day, the financial situation is still unknown and with more upcoming medical needs for Chris they are asking for any help available to offset the missing work and medical bills that are and will be occurring.
