My name is Travon, and I am a senior at the University of Oklahoma working hard toward my dream of graduating and going to law school. I’ve come so far on my own, but right now, I’m facing a situation that could derail everything I’ve worked for. As a first-generation and non-traditional student at the University of Oklahoma balancing academics, rent, and daily living costs hasn’t been easy. I’m now facing a serious financial challenge that could interrupt my education. I recently created a GoFundMe to help me avoid eviction and stay enrolled so I can finish my degree and continue toward my dream of becoming an attorney.
