Help an Old U.S. Marine During Back Surgery Recovery

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Compassionate Souls,

Asking for help is never easy, but I find myself in a situation where I desperately need your support. I'm facing urgent and unavoidable back surgery on May 7th, 2025, which will require months of recovery. After eight+ years of exhausting all other options, this surgery is my only path to regaining my health and quality of life.

The Challenge

Adding to the challenge, my beloved rescue dogs, my "kiddos," rely on me. One of them is diabetic and requires daily medication, a delicate balance given her husky pickiness. Each of my four dogs has a remarkable story of resilience:

- The Abandoned One: Left to fend for herself on the streets.
- The Survivor: Rescued from a devastating hoarding situation.
- The Rejected: Returned multiple times before finding her forever home with me.
- The Mystery: Found in a car, her past unknown but her future secure in my care.

They've taught me more about unconditional love than I ever thought possible, and it breaks my heart to think that during my recovery, I won't be able to fully care for and play with them.

The Financial Burden

Following my surgery, I'll be unable to work my primary job—serving our nation's veterans—for six to eight weeks. My physically demanding second job will be on hold for even longer. The financial burden of all my expenses, my dogs' care, and basic living costs is truly overwhelming. Your support will help cover:

- Essential Medical Needs: Follow-up care, treatments, medications, ADL'S (Aids to Daily Living), and recovery-focused nutrition.
- Veterinary Care: Food and medication for my dogs, ensuring their well-being.
- Living Expenses: Mortgage, utilities, and basic necessities during my recovery.
- Financial Stability: Monthly bills and unexpected expenses during this challenging time.

As a Marine, I’m accustomed to facing challenges head-on. But this is a battle I can't win alone. If you’re able to contribute, please know that every dollar counts, and if a donation isn’t possible, sharing my story would mean the world to me.

Thank You

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and compassion. Your support will allow me to heal, care for my family, and return to serving our veterans.

With deep gratitude,

Semper Fi,
Eric
