Help an LBSA Vet Student Give Our TALB Pup His Forever Home!

This handsome German Shepherd/Husky mix wandered into a TALB Union Meeting and quickly stole everyone’s hearts. When no one could find where he belonged, some of our amazing TALB teachers stepped up to make sure he was safe, loved, and cared for while the search for his owner began.

He was taken to a vet to be scanned for a microchip, and local shelters and rescues were contacted, but no chip was found and no one came forward. Flyers were posted, neighborhoods were walked, and social media lit up across Long Beach — still, no luck finding his family.

That’s when fate stepped in. He joined a Long Beach School for Adults Animal Care and Veterinary Assistant Program class to show off his good manners and playful spirit — and one of the students fell in love. She decided to make him part of her family! ❤️

She will be graduating in January and beginning her career helping animals — and now she’s helping one of her own.

We’re raising $1,500 to help this young family cover his vet care, neutering, training, and supplies. Anything beyond that will be donated to a local Long Beach rescue to help more pets find loving homes.

Every donation or share helps this sweet boy and his new LBSA Vet Student mom start their next chapter together.
