Hi, my name is Mariem , I’m an international student studying in the US, I currently have no income, no financial resources, and no support system here. I came to this country with a student visa to pursue my education and build a better future, not just for myself, but for my family and so I can eventually give to others who are in need too.

Right now, I’m in a deep financial crisis, and I’m creating this fundraiser simply to survive for months and continue my education.

Due to the strict restrictions of my student visa, I am not legally allowed to work, and there are no available work opportunities through my school at this time. This means I have no way to earn money, even though I still have to cover all my living expenses just like anyone else, and continue my education.

I urgently need support, I am creating fundraising for $7,000 to help me for months with living expenses starting from October and moving into November and the next months . I am struggling to cover my rent, utilities, car expenses, food, monthly bills, insurance, and other fees, and I am also finding it difficult to continue pursuing my degree and education, I really want to live like a normal student, focused on studying, staying safe, and being responsible, but I cannot do that without help.

I really have always given my best, even when I had the least. I have no safety net, no family here, and no income. But I still find ways to serve, I regularly volunteer with my church and in my community, I am a hard working student, I am committed to my education and building a better future.

I’m not just asking for help, I’m asking for a chance to survive, to stay on the right path, and to finish what I came here to do.

It’s very hard for me to ask for help. This is not easy to write, and it took me a lot to open up like this. But I’ve reached a point where I can’t do this alone anymore.

One day, when life gives me the chance, I promise to give back. Whether it’s through housing, food, education, healthcare, or simply showing kindness, I will help others who are in the position I’m in now, or any other kind of situation that they need help with! I truly believe in paying it forward, and I pray for the chance to do so.
