Hi! I’m Shannon, and I run Picture Show Press, a small press that publishes indie authors, both local and beyond. Since 2017, we have published 20 titles, and going forward, Picture Show Press will be an imprint of Blue Font Books, the business my partner and I started building last month! To mark our commitment, we signed a lease for a small but beautiful space downtown.

This year (which is somehow halfway over?!), we plan to release 2–3 new titles, and next year’s goal is to publish 8–10 new books. Along with publishing, we will be working on developing workshops, hosting readings and events, and looking for additional ways to serve the community. We have a lot of ideas, many of which are already in the works. For instance, we will be publishing a collection of attractive, affordable large-print books, something I'm really excited about.
