Help an Imam and Ḥāfiẓ of the Qur’an Shelter His Family

Assalamu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh

We are reaching out to our brothers and sisters to help a fellow servant of Allah — an imam and ḥāfiẓ of the Qur’an from Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamāʿah — who is struggling to find shelter for his wife and newborn daughter.

Hassan Abu Zuhra is a good friend of ours who resides in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He studied shariah, receiving his bachelor's degree, and outside of his humble profession as a juicer, he spends his time studying and teaching the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

He recently experienced some issues with his visa where he had to send his family back to their home country, and due to his low income, he is not able to provide a stable home and urgently needs support to secure a simple, safe place for his family — not for luxury, only for a roof, food, and warmth.

We are raising $5000 to cover housing and essential needs.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“No one gives charity from what is good (ṭayyib) — and Allah only accepts what is good (ṭayyib) — but that the Most Merciful takes it with His right hand and nurtures it for its giver, just as one of you raises his foal (young camel or calf), until it becomes like a mountain.”
