Hi, my name is Zanaiah, and I am a young African American woman pursuing my Ed.M. in School Psychology with an ABA track at Teachers College, Columbia University.
In May 2025, I graduated from Morgan State University, an HBCU that helped shape both my academic journey and passion for mental health. Being accepted into Teachers College, Columbia University for Fall 2026 is an opportunity I am incredibly proud of and one that reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication to my future career. However, the financial commitment has become overwhelming.
I am raising funds to help cover my tuition costs for Teachers College, Columbia University. While my overall goal reflects the estimated cost of the full three-year program, my immediate focus is raising enough to support my first year and allow me to begin this fall.
Despite financial aid and my own efforts to prepare for graduate school, there is still a significant gap that I cannot manage alone. Asking for help is not easy for me, but continuing my education and pursuing this career means everything to me.
I am pursuing a career in school psychology, mental health, and ABA care because I want to work directly with children, especially those facing behavioral challenges, emotional difficulties, trauma, and limited access to support. As a future mental health professional, I hope to create safe and supportive spaces where children feel understood, supported, and able to succeed.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to continuing my education and achieving this goal. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would also mean so much to me.
Thank you sincerely for your support, encouragement, and belief in my future.
