If you know me then you know i wouldn't ask for help like this because I've toughed out a back injury before.  But i can't tough out this injury because it requires surgery. 

For those who dont know me, my name is Chris. I'm an EMT on an ambulance. I am trying to raise funds to have surgery on my knee. It's hard to be a pillar of the community with a blown out knee. As you can see in the photo of my MRI reading, my knee is in bad shape. 

I was injured in the fire academy during training and need surgery to fix my knee. I'm reluctant to ask for help but I can't earn the money in the time frame the orthopedic surgeon, Dr Domby, said I need to have it done. The more i work, the more damage I'm doing. With no insurance I am paying out of pocket. 

If its a repair then the surgery will be $5087, if it required an implant then it will cost just over $7000. I know a lot of people are having trouble making ends meet right now, so I truly appreciate any help.
