Help an Elderly Man Recover from Family Turmoil

Raising funds for my soon-to-be 81-year-old husband with dementia and heart disease.
His estranged daughter created havoc in our lives by taking him out of the comfortable assisted living home where he was doing so well, living among other senior men. She thought she had all the answers; but fast forward 5 months, and he was taken, in his underwear, without even a coat, to sit in a jail cell for 4 hours, on those cold cots. She charged him with assault when she found out she'd need to evict him, which takes longer than she preferred. All this while taking $2K a month from his pension, as a Senior Parole Officer for NJ. He wasn't getting his SSA for the past 5 months either, due to government changes of verification and her reluctance to pursue the lengthy process of being an assault payee. Did I mention her husband also tackled him to the floor, as my husband was charged with assault? On an 81-year-old frail senior.
We're still getting address changes, doctor verification for SSA, and pension to send his check where he now resides. Looking into facilities is stuck until SSA restarts. This month's pension check will be going to her house, so there's that delay. He requires caregivers for assistance and monitoring, meals cooked, and help with AL's.
This amount is to get through May while it's all sorted with funds going to lawyers and home health care.
Any amount will provide food, necessities, and utility bills for this proud but needy senior, assaulted physically and now mentally by the government disruption of SSA. The Office on Aging is involved as well as hospice for care.
I know many seniors are struggling right now, but if you can see your way to just send a little token to tide over until his payments start hitting his account in June, this help would be greatly appreciated and blessed.
