Help an Autistic Trans Woman Escape Florida
Donation protected
Hi, thank you for visiting my page. My name is Frances. My friends call me Frankie. I am a trans woman currently living in Florida, and I'm desperately trying to get out. Our rental company is selling our house at the end of our lease, so I have to come up with the money necessary to rent a car and drive me and my things to where I'm going in two months time. I am autistic and I suffer from Becker muscular dystrophy (BMD), a combination that makes working my part time grocery store job difficult, and I don't make enough to save for moving expenses while also paying my bills.
I wont fully know how much money I will need to move until I get closer to prime time, but I do know how much money I'll need for rent and groceries for that two month period: I am hoping to raise about $2,500 to cover my last few rent payments, as well as the groceries I will need to live until then. Whatever money I make from working will be put directly into my savings, so that I may use it when I'm ready to leave.
My primary vocation is music, having played and recorded it for 15 years. To help me move is to also help put me in a place closer to music-related work opportunities, as well as online friends and family. I make visual art, I have a special interest in meteorology, and I enjoy rollerskating, taking walks by the beach, photography, and doing basically anything with my friends.
It is very difficult, emotionally, to ask for help for most anything, certainly something like this, but I genuinely don't know how else I'm to leave this place. With your help, I hope to put my self in a position where I am able to save myself, and live the life I was meant to live. Thank you for your time and consideration. -f
