I was laid off in February for the second time in a relatively short period, and I’ve been trying to recover ever since.

In the past seven months, I’ve applied to 593 jobs, completed 30 screenings, and been through 13 interview processes. I’m currently still active in three interview processes, including one where I’ve already completed the final interview.

While job searching, I’ve been driving Uber to help keep bills paid, but after recently replacing my tires, my transmission began failing and took away one of the few ways I had to keep income coming in.

I’m now behind on my mortgage and other essential bills and am asking for help staying afloat while I continue searching for stable full-time work.
