Help an artist survive and thrive
Donation protected
I am Alison Chism. I have been a glass artist more than 25 years and I am facing the worst catastrophe of my career.
This is the Riverview Station building where my studio is on the second floor- you can just see the high water mark.
we're all flooded out.
Because of the bacterial and mold contamination the entire building has to be gutted and refinished. If it is saved at all
I have lost my work space, my office and records a lot of work;- my livelihood- end-of-year sales all gone.
I am struggling to save what I can and set up a way to continue my life's work.
Any help you can give will be appreciated and acknowledged unless you donate anonymously.

This is my studio before September 27, 2024...

These are two views of the aftermath..
There is a long way to go- I and the other 100 artists may have to find and entirely new studio;- the owners may not be able to maintain the building depending on decisions made by the city....an adventure! Ha!
