Hi everybody, I’m reaching out to my community to ask for help with relocation assistance. I’m currently dealing with an emergency housing situation, and could use funds to secure a safe home. I relocated to Los Angeles from Chicago about a year ago, due to issues with a gang in my neighborhood. I felt unsafe and decided to leave. I had family helping me out in California with my transition, but was asked to find my own housing immediately due to family issues. I was able to find housing with roommates in Los Angeles but that situation didn’t last long for me. I also had a job but decided to leave to pursue my art full time. I was under the assumption that I was being discriminated against and felt like it would be better for me to move on. I’ve been saving as much as possible but to be honest, art isn’t the most reliable source of income nowadays. I am still in the process of looking for employment and would appreciate any leads! God placed it on my heart to humble myself and put my pride aside - to reach out to my community. I have a vehicle but unfortunately ran into car issues today, so I’m working on getting that sorted immediately. I’m currently in between housing and I would like to avoid the situation getting any worst. If you have the means to help or any resources, it would mean the world to me. I want to continue making art for everyone! I have so many amazing projects, literally on the precipice of being released. I would love to show you guys what I have been working on because it means a lot to me. I was willing to walk on faith for these visions/ideas and believe you guys will love it! This story has a lot more details involved but I want to keep things positive. There’s enough anger in the world today and we all could use a helping had every now and then. Thank you for your time!
