Help an Artist in NYC Stay Housed Until Work Authorization Arrives

Hello, my name is Thiago. I am an actor and artist currently living in New York City.

I am here legally and in the middle of my immigration process. At this stage, I am waiting for my work permit to be approved, which means I am not yet allowed to work. While I wait, I have fallen into a difficult situation: my rent is due soon, and I do not have the means to cover it.

This fundraiser is to help me stay housed and stable during this transition period. The funds will go directly toward one month of rent and essential living costs. This is only temporary — once my work authorization arrives, I will be able to fully support myself again.

Any support, no matter the size, will make a real difference. Even $5 or $10 helps me move one step closer to staying safe and secure until I can legally work.

Thank you deeply for your kindness, generosity, and compassion.

With gratitude,

Thiago
