Life has been throwing a lot of unexpected challenges my way, and I’m reaching out for help during a particularly difficult chapter of my life.

As an artist, I’ve always worked hard to support myself through my art. Unfortunately, making a living as an independent artist isn’t always easy. Income can be unpredictable, and lately, I’ve been struggling to keep up with basic living expenses while trying to find some financial stability.

Last year, my partner and I were forced to relocate on short notice because our former landlords were going through a divorce. Having to move unexpectedly meant dealing with the stress and expense of finding a new place to live, packing up our lives and trying to get settled again without much time to prepare financially. It was a major disruption that I’m still working to recover from. Shortly after moving I was in an accident that broke my foot and required surgery to fix which set me back even further in time and money. I am still healing from this.

Now, I’m facing a divorce of my own. Between navigating this transition and the financial strain of trying to establish stability, I’ve found myself in a position where even making ends meet has become difficult.

Art is my livelihood, and I’m incredibly grateful to the people who continue to support my work. However I already have a substantial backlog of commissions that I’m working hard to complete. Taking on additional commissions might seem like the obvious solution, but adding more work to an already full queue would mean longer wait times for customers and even more pressure when I’m already struggling to keep up.

I’m asking for help so I can catch my breath financially without having to take on more commissions than I can reasonably handle. My goal is to raise enough money to help cover living expenses, some unexpected pet expenses and begin building a small financial cushion so I can focus on completing my existing commitments while working toward a more stable future.
