Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

**Update February 25th,2025**

Hi Folks, on behalf on Leslie, scribed by Ulyn.

To all who have contributed and donated this far thank you for your assistance to him with my current situation and position.

We have begun the clearing and cleaning of the property around my home. We able to with generous support cut down some of the trees that were of concern in the future rebuilding of the house. I will try to upload photos to keep abreast of the work.

I was also able to with your support, purchase the necessary medical equipment to manage and maintain the care of my newly discovered diabetes. Thank for your aide in this matter, as you haven’t this the cause for my amputation. I was unaware of my medical condition, now with this assistance and I am of heart and mind I am certain I will continue to progress so I can be of service to community again as soon as possible. I am grateful for all your kindness. May God bless you all.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share an unexpected and life-changing event in the life of Leslie Cyrus. In a sudden turn of events, Leslie was faced with an emergency situation that required the amputation of his leg in order to save his life. This shocking and painful decision was made quickly and without warning, altering the course of Leslie's life and creating a need for urgent and significant changes to his living conditions.

Leslie has always been a dedicated and hardworking individual, known for his commitment to serving others. After several challenging years, he had slowly and steadily been rebuilding his life through his service business, which helps senior citizens in our community access essential services. From providing transportation to medical appointments, to paying utility bills, picking up prescriptions, and running grocery errands, Leslie made it his mission to assist those who needed help the most—our elderly and vulnerable neighbors.

Now, Leslie faces new challenges in his life as he adjusts to his "new normal." His living accommodations need to be completely revamped to support his mobility and ensure he can continue to maintain a level of independence and dignity. In addition to the physical changes to his home, there are essential tools, equipment, and modifications needed to ensure he can still pursue his passion—helping others.

How You Can Help:

We are asking for your support to help Leslie adapt to this life-changing event. Our goal is to raise $43.5k CND or $30k USD for the:

* Construction of a living space to accommodate his new mobility needs, including making his home wheelchair accessible, adding ramps, and installing other vital amenities,

* Provision of the necessary equipment such as a prosthetic leg, mobility aids, and any additional tools needed for his rehabilitation,

* Restart of his business so that Leslie can continue to provide his invaluable services to elderly and vulnerable people in our community.

He is deeply passionate about making sure that no one is left behind, and we want to ensure he can get back to doing what he loves, even with these new challenges.

Leslie’s mission has always been to bring joy, comfort, and assistance to seniors and those in need. With your support, we can help him continue this important work and return to his passion for service. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in his life.

We know that Leslie has touched many lives with his kindness, dedication, and willingness to help others. Let’s come together to return the favor, and help him overcome this unexpected obstacle so that he can continue to serve the community that he loves.

Thank you for your generosity, love, and support during this challenging time.

Sincerely,
O/B Leslie Cyrus
