LETS GET MARCO TO NEW ZEALAND!!

For those of you that know Marco, you know he has the biggest heart, is an amazing hard working human, and a great Rugby player.

Rugby is Marco's passion, which he has demonstrated through his many successes in the last few years. Some of these include being awarded a silver medal at Manitoba Games with Team Manitoba, winning City Champs with his high school, and being selected for Tropical 7's in Florida with MacDowell Rugby Academy. He is also a proud member of the Winnipeg Wanderers RFC.

Due to his performance in Florida, Marco was offered the opportunity to attend MacDowell Rugby Island Academy in BC full time. He is now living away from home, despite only being in high school, and training everyday with MacDowell. He is also playing for the Cowichan Rugby Club in BC, and they are heading into quarter finals next weekend.

Marco's coaches have noted him to be the kid who always shows up giving 110% and being "the glue" that holds the team together. His "never give up" attitude, positivity, leadership, and talent are what make him standout. Most recently Marco was selected to play with MacDowell Rugby in the MX19 Challenger in Mexico City where his team won gold, and Marco was awarded "Man of the Tournament."

Incredibly, Marco has now been selected to play for MacDowell Rugby in the Global Youth 7's tournament in Auckland, New Zealand December 13-22, 2025!!!!!

The cost of the trip with fees and airfare is around $6500.

Unfortunatly with the cost of Marco living in BC, out of province school fees, and his homestay we are just not able to make this happen on our own. We are humbly turning to friends, family, rugby lovers, or anyone willing to help give a great kid the chance to take part in this amazing once in a lifetime opportunity. This could lead to much bigger opportunities in the future for Marco; his potential is endless and we are just so proud of him. Any little bit, or even a share helps!
