I have an employee who has worked for us for 15 years in our housekeeping department, her husband Javier who also worked for us a good portion of this career until his health issues started preventing him from working. This weekend Javier passed away from heart failure leaving behind his wife of 46 years and his devoted children. Engracia and Javier were high school sweethearts and had a wonderful life together.

 

Engracia is the hardest working women I have ever met, always dependable, always a smile on her face, and always there to help her team out when needed. Engracia is the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back or her last dollar in her wallet if she knows you needed it more then her.

 

With the unexpected passing of her husband, Engracia now needs our help to give him the proper funeral he deserves. She will also need our help with day to day expenses now that Javier has passed.
