This campaign is for Alex, an amazing 11-year-old boy living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease, a rare, progressive condition that affects his muscles and makes everyday movement a challenge.

Despite his strength and determination, simple tasks that most of us take for granted, like climbing the stairs, getting to his room, or moving around the house, have become increasingly difficult and exhausting for him. The stairs are now a daily obstacle, and it’s heartbreaking to see his independence slipping away.

A stair lift would make a world of difference for Alex. It would allow him to move safely between floors, reduce his risk of falls, and bring back a sense of freedom that every child deserves. Unfortunately, stair lifts and installation costs are very expensive and not fully covered by insurance or government programs and is beyond what our family can manage. That’s why we’re asking for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to giving this amazing boy the mobility and safety he deserves. We received a quote to have 2 lifts installed in our home and had an assessment completed but due to circumstances out of our control we do not qualify for funding.
