Help an Albanian School

Hi Friends and Family

Gary and I are setting up this fundraising page to help a School in the village of Risili, Vlore, Albania. The name of the school is 'Shkolla 9-Vjecare 'Idriz Rustemi'. We visited the school in Oct 2021 and found that it is underfunded and in desperate need of repair. The school has around 175 children aged 3-15 years from 3 local villages (one of them is where I come from and this is very important to me ❤️).

We have already supported the school with some painting of the interior and donated some toys, learning tools as well as food parcels for the children and families most in need.

We are in talks with Brookfield Junior and Infant School (Evie's School) about donations such as sending over teddies, stationeries, shoes etc and have secured transport from England to Albania. We hope to set up deliveries on a regular basis (at least 2-3 times a year).

We would very much appreciate any financial support, which would go towards Transport, New Décor and Benches (if we raise enough). Any donation will make a huge difference to the learning environment and greatly contribute to the children's lives. Thank you.
