My name is Rebecca. I am creating this GoFundMe for an 8th grader in Shasta Lake School. She wants to attend the end-of-year field trip to Six Flags, but her mother cannot afford the cost, and her father has passed away. She is friends to my daughter who also attends the school. My daughter came to me expressing how she was sad for the situation, so I created this to see if we could help. This young girl would be devastated to have to stay home while the rest of her class goes on a day trip to celebrate the end of middle school without her. The cost of the trip is $150, and a $50 deposit is due April 15th. I'd like to raise $200 so she has some spending money at the event as well.
