I met an incredible 8-year-old girl and her family while traveling in the mountains of Laos. She was born unable to walk, and because of the lack of resources in her village, she has spent her entire life living in a bucket. Her parents lovingly carry her everywhere, but it’s a daily struggle. Her neck hurts constantly from being in the same position, and she’s never had the chance to experience the world like other children her age.

I am raising funds to help her get a wheelchair and to travel to a bigger city where she can see doctors who might finally provide answers about her condition. With the right care, equipment, and a better living environment, she could have the chance to sit up, go to school, and enjoy a more comfortable life. Her family wants nothing more than to see her thrive, but they simply don’t have the means to make this possible on their own.
