Hi, I’m Tina from Norway.

A week ago, an 11 year old girl from an orphanage I’ve supported for many years suffered severe burns covering over 30% of her body. I visited this orphanage years ago, and it has remained close to my heart since.

She is now in a private hospital, bravely fighting through pain, fear, and serious injury, without parents by her side.

Her caretakers chose a private hospital because government hospitals in India are overcrowded, underfunded, and often lack proper hygiene. In her fragile condition, the risk of infection and poor treatment could have been life threatening.

We are not sharing the most graphic photos out of respect for her dignity, but her burns cover most of her upper body. The pain has been severe, she has cried for hours after dressing changes, even with pain medication.

I’ve already helped by providing quality meals and protein rich food to support her healing, but she needs more financial help for her treatment than I can carry alone.

The orphanage does not have funds to cover hospital treatment, and without outside help, she would not be able to stay in the hospital or get the care she needs.

What this fundraiser will help with:

Hospital care and daily treatment

Injections, medications, and possible skin graft surgery

Protein and nutrient rich food to support healing

Emotional trauma support and therapy after recovery

The hospital estimate is approx. 45,000 NOK, but we are raising 55,000 NOK to also cover high protein food for healing, physical therapy, emotional support, and post surgery recovery needs.

Even a small donation makes a difference. Whether it’s 50 kr, 100 kr, or more, it all adds up and goes directly toward her healing, comfort, and recovery.
