On July 2, 2025, Amy Worden passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her passing was one that could have never been prepared for and has left her two beloved sons, Anthony and Cody, to face the world without either parent or close family.

Amy was everything to her boys. She worked tirelessly as the manager of A&W in Bay City, MI, for over 20 years. During her time there, she gave countless teens—many just 15 or 16 years old—their very first job. She trained them with patience, professionalism, and care, helping launch many young people into the workforce. Amy was a pillar in her community and touched many lives through her kindness and dedication.

Now, Anthony and Cody—both in their early 20s—are left to not only grieve their incredible mother but also to shoulder all the responsibilities she once carried. These young men are facing overwhelming emotional and financial challenges with no immediate family to lean on.

One of Amy’s sons Anthony is a good friend of my own son. Because of that, I know firsthand the kind of boys that Amy raised, I feel deeply compelled to help them.

I am asking for donations of any size to help Anthony and Cody bring their mother home, cover essential expenses, and keep a roof over their heads while they take time to grieve and begin to rebuild their lives. Bills don’t stop in the wake of loss, and these young men should not have to face such burdens alone.
