Help Amy's Kids After Their Loss
Donation protected
I am Jennifer, the sister of Amy Rockwell, who died suddenly in a car accident. Amy was a passenger in a car that went off the road and into a pond, where she drowned. Her daughter was home alone when the police came to the door to notify the family of this heartbreaking news. This has been a shock and devastating to all of her family, including her three children. Amy was only 45 years old and was the sole supporter for two of the three children that lived with her. The three children, are now without parents since they sadly lost their father, Will, unexpectedly five years ago, also in October. This is such a terrible time for the kids and they not only need loving support but also need financial support. Their lives have been turned upside down and we are asking if you could give any amount that would help with the daily living expenses of food, mortgage, utilities, etc. The funds would go directly to the kids to get them through this tough time as they figure out their futures without parents and where they are going to live.
Amy was the type of person who would open her door to anyone in need. She was a generous and kind spirit that touched the lives of many. Amy was a volunteer EMT and also worked at various EMS services before becoming a sonographer that helped women and babies in utero. Amy cared deeply for children and now her children are left crushed and without parents after this terrible accident.
Amy’s first priority was to care for her children and I want to do my best to support them however we can. We are so worried that the kids will lose the one constant home they have had before we have had a chance to sort everything out. Her two sons and daughter all work but do not have health insurance except through Amy and the income is not sufficient to meet immediate household needs. Between this situation and now the loss of their mother and sole supporter, this is not enough to take over the household expenses in the short-term. Myself and my family realized that we needed to reach out beyond friends and family to our community for assistance to keep her kids supported. Anyone who has to sustain a household today, knows what a financial challenge it can be.
