My name is Amber Moody, and I am reaching out to the community to help my family through a very difficult time. My sister in law Amy suffered a critical seizure Friday morning. It seized her airway and caused her to go into cardiac arrest. Paramedics brought her back after she was gone for 10-17 minutes. She was then rushed to the closest hospital. They struggled getting her vitals stabled as multiple problems throughout her body presented throughout the day. Amy was then flown into Spartanburg regional hospital Friday night to get her with a stronger care team. Saturday was a rough day as well, as her medical team continued to control several new problems. She has been on a ventilator since she was revived and had not been able to wake up despite not being on any sedatives. Monday, 8/5 we have received news that there is major concern for extensive brain damage due to swelling in her brain and one pupil changing shape. A ct was done and showed areas of concern. We are currently waiting on results from her mri to determine if there is anything that can be done to save her life.

I am asking for help to provide support for her husband and 17 year old son. They are not in a good financial situation currently and her husband Chris is unable to work due to being at the hospital daily.
