My name is Amy, and I’m reaching out for help after a difficult breakup left my family and me in a tough spot. When my ex-boyfriend moved out, he took the car and couches with him since they were in his name. While I was relieved to have him out of my house, it meant losing my only transportation and some of the basic furniture my family relied on.

Now, I’m facing knee surgery soon, and not having a car has already caused me to miss several important doctor’s appointments. It’s been stressful trying to figure out how to get to the care I need, and I worry about how I’ll manage after my surgery. On top of that, we’re trying to make our home comfortable again after losing our couches.
