Hi, my name is Ciena Duerr and last night, August 10th, at around 1-3 am, heavy storms swept through our area and caused severe flooding.

My mom, Amy’s, entire basement, where she, my stepdad, and my baby sister slept, was filled to the ceiling, damaging nearly everything inside — furniture, clothes, bedding, shoes, and many personal belongings. Although our family is safe, our main floor was also filled up quite a bit and other than our personal items being destroyed, our cars were completely submerged and are cannot be used and the house is unlivable and sustained damages that our insurance cannot cover.
