Hi, my name is Amy and I find I'm needing help. I am a 70 yr old who worked part time for past 12 years and resigned to take an easier job due to my age and to continue supplement my social security. Ten days ago, I found out I was diagnosed with lung cancer and liver cancer. I was due to start the new gig two days later. So long to the job. That leaves me just my social security to survive and nothing else. I find I cannot afford to live on just that. I live alone and all this is scaring the crap out of me and I don't want to be homeless. The cancer treatments have yet to start and I'm already stressed out about the financial part of bills and food let alone the rest of this journey.
