Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to you all on behalf of my amazing wife, Amy. At the age of 24, Amy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
While her first flare ups affected her eyes, since age 40, Amy has been experiencing increased leg fatigue, causing a steady decline in her mobility. Ten years later, Amy now finds herself dependent on a walker or wheelchair to navigate her daily life. It breaks my heart to see her struggle to move around.
However, there is hope on the horizon. We’ve discovered the Bioness L300 Go, a functional electrical stimulation (FES) system capable of producing measurable mobility improvements for patients with foot drop and/or knee instability caused by a disease such as MS. This innovative technology could make a world of difference for Amy, helping her regain some of the independence she longs for.
Unfortunately, the cost of the Bioness L300 Go is beyond our current financial means. That’s why I’m turning to you, our friends, family, and community, for support. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to providing Amy with the tools she needs to enhance her quality of life and maintain her mobility.
Please consider contributing to Amy’s journey. Your generosity will not only make a tangible difference in her life but also serve as a beacon of hope during these challenging times. Together, we can help Amy continue to face her diagnosis with strength, courage, and determination.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and support.
With gratitude,
Kristen
