Amy is my sister from another mother, my best friend, and truly my biggest fan. She has always been there for me and for so many others in our community. This morning, a devastating fire in AuSable Township took everything from Amy—her home, her beloved dog Wyllow, and all of her belongings. The loss is total, and the heartbreak is unimaginable. Wyllow, you will be greatly missed. Go cross that rainbow bridge, sweet girl. We will be so lost without the love you brought into our lives and the joy you gave us every day.
Amy has always been the kind of person who goes above and beyond for others. In her work with Oscoda Schools as a bus driver and custodian, she’s touched countless lives, always offering a helping hand and a warm smile. Now, she and her husband are facing the difficult task of rebuilding their lives from scratch. They need help with everything—clothing, dishes, and all the essentials that make a house a home.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support during this tragic time. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read about Amy and for keeping her and her husband in your thoughts and prayers. Any help you can offer will make a world of difference as Amy works to rebuild and find hope again. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can say.
