Help Amy Phillips Battle Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Kasey Leighton. I am the sister-in-law of Amy Phillips. In the past month Amy has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Amy is a wonderful, devoted mother to four beautiful children, two boys and two girls, and she is a fighter who is doing everything she can to kick this cancers butt. This diagnosis has come as a complete shock to our family. Immediately Amy's doctors were sending her daily to Lewiston, Idaho for further testing and will continue to run testing throughout her chemotherapy treatments. Amy has made multiple trips to meet her new Oncology doctors, had lots of scans, new appointments and has now completed her first Chemotherapy round which was on Friday June 19th, 2024. We are still awaiting many tests results at this time, but her doctors wanted to get her started in Chemotherapy right away even while some tests are pending due to the size and number of tumors/nodules that were found in her right lung.

Lewiston is just over an hour drive away from Amy's home and all of her testing and treatments must be completed in Lewiston as that is the nearest Oncology center to her home. I am creating this Go Fund Me account to help cover the multiple medical expenses that Amy will have. Medical bills have already begun accruing, fuel is a large portion as well since each trip to Oncology is over two hours round trip. Your generous donations will go directly to Amy's medical needs and treatment. Amy is going to continue working as her doctors allow but please help us try to reduce the financial pressures she is facing and let her know she is not alone in this battle.
