Thanks to your generosity, Amy has been able to get some much-needed help at home. But now she's had a setback and will be needing more assistance than originally thought. They say it takes a village, and right now one of our villagers needs our help. You may remember a few weeks ago Amy Herdman Minnick fell, breaking both wrists. She's had two surgeries, gotten some plates and pins, and hopefully can start healing now. With two wrists in casts while recovering through the holiday season, Amy won't be able to easily manage day-to-day tasks. Injuries like hers make it incredibly difficult to remain independent. That's where we come in. She's going to have to hire home health care, and that will cost hundreds of dollars each week. Let's pitch in to help make Amy's daily activities less onerous, so she can spend more time resting and recovering.
