Help Amy McCormick Move Home After A Loss

My name is Amy McCormick and on April 2nd, 2025, my world was turned upside down—my partner Sam Valdez of over six years suddenly passed away. We shared everything—our home, our bills, and our life. His unexpected passing has left me not only grieving, but also facing financial challenges I wasn't prepared for.

We moved to Florida together to be close to his children and grandchildren, but now I need to move back home to Texas to be near my own family during this incredibly difficult time.

I'm asking for $2,500 to help cover the costs of this move—new tires for my truck (which are urgently needed before I can make the drive), a trailer rental, possibly a motel stay or two, and food along the way.
