Help 13-Year-Old Scout Leader Amy-Jean Make a Difference in Kenya

Hi, my name is Amy-Jean, I’m 13 years old and I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to travel to Kenya with my school and African Adventures in March 2027.

I am also a young leader at my local Scout group, where I help support younger children, build their confidence, and be a positive role model. Helping others is something I’m really passionate about, which is why this opportunity means so much to me

During this trip, I will be working alongside local communities, supporting schools, and taking part in projects that will make a real difference. This is more than just a trip—it’s a chance for me to learn, grow, and give something back.

I want to use this experience to continue helping others in my community when I return, using what I’ve learned to make a positive difference.

I am working hard to raise the funds myself through events and fundraising activities, and I’m so grateful for all the support I’ve received so far.

So far, I have raised £200 towards my £2,500 target, but I still have a long way to go.
