Help Amy Lowry survive breast cancer brain surgery

Donation protected
It is very hard for me to reach out on a personal level, but it is time.  Three years ago, I sat with my daughter Amy and received the results of her mammogram, which because of her age 31, we had to fight to even have them give her one.  I could not believe what I was hearing, that my daughter had stage 4 breast cancer and that it had spread to her sternum and spine.  It is so aggressive, that had she not caught it, she would not be here today. I will never forget that day.
This young lady is one of the most loving and giving souls and would do anything to help another human being and if you have fur of any kind, you go straight to the top of the list.
I will let her tell her story, but I want to reach out to all of those that are able to give.  It is time that she could really use your support.  She has taken this head on and the strength she continues to exhibit goes to show you her drive to beat this, not only for herself, but for her two children and her family. Here is her story:
"Three years ago today, my life was forever changed when I was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer.  I have been through the hair lost, numerous rounds of radiation including 3 of which were in my brain and my fifth type of chemotherapy which I am so grateful for yet on January 16th, my family and I were hit with even harder news and that it appears to be back in my brain in an area that was already radiated and is not able to be radiated again, so this is no longer an option.
I will be facing brain surgery to remove this mass through a procedure that I will remain awake so they can keep track of my motor skills.  The cost at this point is undetermined yet what I do know is that I will need countless hours of extensive rehabilitation to regain the strength and motor function.  This care as I have learned is not covered by insurance as I will also need in home care a well.  These costs are required to be paid prior to receiving the care services that are vitally important to my recovery.
I have two beautiful children that unfortunately, you never want to have to go on this journey.  I will be unable to care for them directly, nor have the ability to maintain the care of our home and I am hopeful that with the support of our friends, family and those that are able, that you will all help me to continue to beat this.  I can not do this alone.  I am very grateful and no words can begin to express my gratitude for those that are able to give. Please keep me in your prayers and Thank You for your support." Love, Amy

Thank you all for taking the time to read Amy's fight and I too appreciate your support to help my daughter and her family have the care necessary for her to get better and receive the care that she needs.  Please keep her in your prayers and Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!
