Help Amy Live a Painless Life
Her Name Is Amy — And She’s Fighting for Her Life
I never thought I’d be writing this.
But life has a way of breaking your heart and asking you to keep going anyway.
Amy has been with us for about a decade. Through heartbreaks, rock bottoms, and silent nights when no one else understood, she did. She’s not “just a dog.” She’s been our anchor when the waves hit hard. Our shadow when there was too much anxiety to leave the house. The healer when things were too broken to talk about it.
She’s old now. Slower. Grayer around the face. But until recently, her spirit still lit up the room.
A few days ago, Amy likely had a stroke.
Watching her body betray her—her legs stiff, her eyes scared, her once joyful bark silenced—was one of the most gut-wrenching moments I’ve ever lived through.
Hopefully it’s not the end. There’s still a chance to help her. With medication, monitoring, and the right care, she can still live a painless life. She wants to live. She still tries to follow us, tail thumping when there's tears. She still has that light in her eyes.
But the truth is, the medical bills are already too much. And I’m not too proud to say: we need help.
If you’ve ever loved a pet like family…
If you know the way they carry your burdens in their silence…
If you’ve ever been saved by a soul on four legs…
Please consider donating to help us give Amy the care she needs.
Even $5 means the world right now.
Even a share might reach someone who can help.
This is more than just saving a dog.
This is about honoring the one who’s been saving me for years.
