Help Amy Howsare Fight Breast Cancer

This is a picture is my very special friend Amy Howsare of Lovely, PA. She is the wife of Steve, mother of 8 and grandmother of 4. Amy has dedicated her life to serving the Lord, her family and community. Amy has a contagious smile and loving, joyful heart. In March of 2021, Amy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Metastatic Breast Cancer (HER 2+) (in July the cancer was found to advanced to Stage 4) . It is a very aggressive cancer that metastasizes very quickly . In July 2021,  after much research and prayer, Amy traveled to California and she will remain there until mid-end September for treatment. At the California treatment center they specialize in deep and surface Hyperthermia treatments. She receives these treatments two times daily for 6 days per week. And aggressive chemotherapy is being used with the hyperthermia treatments, and through the goodness of God progress is being made.  Amy and her family have incurred an extreme amount of financial burden in her treatment. Many of the expenses are travel, room and board, Dr. co-pays, hyperthermia and chemo treatments (which insurance does not 100% cover), daily supplements and medications.

Amy is a compassionate and loving lady that is always taking care of and blessing others. She has never met a stranger!!! As she fights this very aggressive cancer, we would like to put her mind at ease by taking care of some of these financial burdens.

We are very thankful to Amy's family, church family and friends who have rallied behind her husband Steve and children back in PA.  Steve has been a tremendous support to Amy and has done everything he can to keep things running smoothly at home.   THANK YOU for considering helping Amy fight this terrible disease.
