Help Amy get her husband home

My husband was working 17 hours away from home and has now been in the hospital for almost a week. He has been diagnosed with severe pneumonia and is now needing an operation to remove part of his lung. At first we thought I would be able to go get him and bring him home for the surgery but they say it's too dangerous for him to travel that distance He will be unable to travel home until he is stable which will not happen until after the surgery. If he comes home before the surgery it would have to be in an ambulance across country.
I need to go to him and be there there to care for him and bring him home when he is stable enough for the long trip.
I am needing funds for travel expenses and a place to stay when he is discharged until they give him approval for travel. Because this was a new job our insurance is in limbo so I will also have massive medical expenses.
He is not drawing a paycheck while he is not at work so we will also need help with living expenses until he is able to return to work.
I am struggling not being there with him and being able to take care him.
