I am a single mother of four children, working two jobs to support my family. Recently, I faced a series of financial setbacks that made it impossible to keep up with my bills. My paycheck is being garnished, my SNAP benefits were cut off, and my part-time job reduced my hours to just three hours a day for four days a week. With so little income coming in, I couldn’t keep up with everything, and my car—the only transportation I have for my family—was repossessed.
